Of course early this morning I sent a tweet to Alton Brown to wish him a happy birthday today. In case you didn’t know it his 49th. Forty-nine and looking fine

In the tweet I sent along a little virtual card as well.  I had to include a cute little corgi for AB too.

Although he told someone on Twitter that cake makes him fat, I do hope he’s having a good day.  And from his tweets we know he’s in Hawaii, working but still Hawaii!!

Back in May asked his new found Twitter friends to donate $1 to Samaritans Purse for Joplin, Mo. tornado relief.  I don’t know how many of his Twitter people donated, however I decided to gather some funds through the blog.  We raised $100 in a few weeks.  So thanks, again, for supporting the fundraiser.
